IDIOT ALERT! This Is NOT What You do When You're Stopped By The Police!
One officer calls out for Brady to get out of the truck, but the 29-year-old doesn't comply - then suddenly whips out a handgun and opens fire on cops, resulting in them riddling his vehicle with a barrage of bullets.

Brady had been sitting in the parking lot of the Flagstaff Walmart on Huntington Drive and playing loud music prior to the incident.

When people trying to sleep in the lot asked him to turn down the volume, he pulled a gun on them, they said.

Condon, Hemp and Sherif then surrounded the vehicle at around 9:48pm, with Condon calling out to Brady to turn off his truck.

Wait a minute, "people trying to sleep in the lot" asked him to be quiet?

What the hell?

I didn't quite understand that part of the story either. I have to assume this spot is a rest stop or truck stop and there are people sleeping in their vehicles overnight. Pointing a gun at a police officer is a great way to meet your maker in a hurry. Jeepers. A truck full of guns and ammo too. Only in America.

Some Walmarts allow campers and RVs to overnight in their parking lots. Truckers as well.

My childhood buddy is a deputy sheriff and the stories he tells of unintelligent people--especially ones on meth--sometimes make me fear for his life.

@MD the funny / sad part of that truth that in the USA as well as Canada there is no electronic gun registry tied to your home address or license plate that a police officer can look up before he approaches your car or your home. A bit of a head's up would be very helpful. Politicians won't challenge the gun lobby but they wouldn't switch places with that cop on the graveyard shift visiting a rural home investigating a domestic incident either. Unfair.

I know you love big government and more programs. I'd rather give authorities greater flexibility in using deadly force. You run from the police and your ass gets killed.

So running justifies death, huh... SMH.... I just hope you are really old and part of that generation that needs to die off before we can turn the page on extreme ignorance.

@MD. My cousin is a police officer. I have heard some very hairy tales about traffic stops and late night door knocks. Most would make your hair curl. Anything reasonable that allows an officer to go home after their shift gets my vote. And yes I put their lives ahead of anyone thinking guns are a private matter and nobody is allowed to know you have enough guns and ammo for WWIII in your basement. #Avengers

@bw5011 Based on your inability to understand hyperbole, we can deduce that you're yet another bed-wetting Liberal dunce.

Your hate speech and bigotry toward the elderly must be your crowning achievement. Hatemongers like you are what's wrong with the world today.
