When it first launched, the Audi A7 was a brilliant vehicle. It had a four-door coupe look that was different from the pack, and it looked "right."
While the Porsche Panamera certainly had performance that would quell any enthusiast's desire, it did something similar and let's just say the execution wasn't nearly as good. Hell, we gave the A7 props for its exterior design because it had a certain panache to it that just worked.
But that was then. Now the A7 just seems a bit dated.
Given all the advances happening at the four rings, it was clear that something new would have to be on the horizon. The all-new A7 is it.
Now that we've seen the all-new Q7, A4, S4, A5, RS5, Q5, SQ5 and lastly the A8, there really shouldn't be any tremendous surprises. At least, we think. But, we're excited to see what Audi has up its sleeve to do battle in its hyper competitive set.
