Barrett-Jackson auction offers one-off VooDoo Blue Porsche 918 Spyder

From 2013 to 2015, only 918 examples of the Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid hypercar were built, and each one of them has an asking price of about $847,000. Among all the examples, there’s nothing like this factory-finished VooDoo Blue unit. That’s why when this unique model was announced to be put up for auction, not a few collectors and auto aficionados paid attention.

This 918 hypercar will soon be brought to the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas sale alongside the Shelby GT500 Super Snake, as well as a Clarion Builds Acura NSX. Currently, Barrett Jackson has not listed the price of the 918, but with its rarity, it will easily go over seven figures.

918's are awesome. If you stand next to one and study its design engineering you cannot help but want one no matter the color. Beyond my means but not my dreams. Great car.

I'd prefer a 914-6 to be honest.
