2018 Ford Mustang GT comes with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires as standard
The new 2018 Ford Mustang GT, when equipped with its optional Performance package, will be able to produce 460 horsepower. It also comes fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that help it sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in just under four seconds.

It was earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show when we first saw the Pilot Sport 4S tires, which had been introduced as a replacement of the popular Pilot Super Sport. The tire manufacturer also said that the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires not only offer a 30,000-mile warranty, but also provide high performance grip levels in whatever road condition.

Back in the day I used to buy Goodyear Eagle F1's for my BMW as a summer tire. It had one a Car + Driver test for the best-wet performance. It finished about 3rd place for dry conditions. I thought at the time this was the best compromise. I am sure this Pilot 4S is a decent tire. 460hp is nothing to sneeze at....:)

Where I live, I run summer tires year around and just slow down on the rare occasion of rain. I REALLY slow down in my Mustang because all that power is stupendously easy to break loose on dry pavement.
