Asking price of Transformers-themed Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse drops
Around a year and a half ago, a certain Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse (2014 model year) wrapped in a Transformers-themed finish was flagged for sale in California. Back then, the asking price for this one-off Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was $2.1 million. Now, the same Autobot-marked Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is being sold by iLusson, a dealership that sells hypercars in Orange County, California.

While this is the very same Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse that was offered for sale in February 2016, it wasn’t clear whether it changed hands by then. It might have been or might have not been sold at the time, when this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse still had 352 miles (568 km) on its odometer.

Is this some kind of joke?

I imaging the cross between Transformer fans and those who are serious about buying a Transformer-themed Veyron, are veeeeery few and far between.

My guess is the price would rise if they just peeled the wrap. It isn't paint. No connection to the movie beyond the logos on the wrap. Same reason you lease or buy a black, sliver or white car. Easiest to flip. Red, Green, Yellow, Blue and Maroon are all fine, but you have to find a buyer.
