Dyson Reveals Their Vision For The Electric Car, But Is It Yours?

Dyson, the innovative UK electrical appliance manufacturer, recently revealed that it is developing a “radically different” electric car that will go on sale in 2020.

The company is investing £2 billion in it and has a development staff of more than 400. Details of the nature of the car itself are scant, though. Sir James Dyson wrote in an email to employees: “Competition for new technology in the automotive industry is fierce and we must do everything we can to keep the specifics of our vehicle confidential.”

I interpret this as "pie in the sky" talk until something real appears, in production numbers, with a meaningful support network behind it.

Making cars is an entirely different story from making vacuum cleaners.

Eventually - car makers are going to make EV's that actually look like cars - Tesla Does this - and they will sell.

The cars currently look like they were styled by a child with crayons - or on a black board with chalk - and until they consider that most people actually know what a car looks like - and they do not want a moving egg beater - these things will sell in small numbers.

Dyson hasn't revealed anything, has to keep it secret as revealed in the article. This is all just Autocar conjecture and speculation.
