Toyota Recalls Over 300,000 Mini Vans That Roll Off Into The Sunset
You don't buy a Toyota Sienna because it's fast or handles well. And despite Toyota's “swagger wagon” commercials, you don't buy a Sienna because it's “cool.” You buy a Sienna because it's a solid and safe way to transport your family.

We wouldn't go so far as to say that trust is misplaced, but this latest recall may tarnish that image a bit.

Not good. Wear and tear on the shift mechanism? Glad it is being address but there is a lot at stake when you are talking about minivans. Mind you if you a are parking on a hill, your drivers Ed training would tell you to put your vehicle in park and put on the parking brake as well. Easy to say, harder to do with a busy schedule and a van full of kids.

Wrong picture, this recall applies to the previous gen van.

"You don't buy a Toyota Sienna because it's fast or handles well" - actually I did.

Just as happy with the overall performance of my 2014 SE as the ability to haul 4x8 sheet goods. My brother in law drove mine, was very surprised, and ended up buying the same SE model (even the same color, unfortunately!). Recently replaced the crap OEM tires with Michelin A/S 3+ and now it has almost too much grip...kind of miss sliding it around the corners a bit. Great sleeper to pi$$ off SUV's.
