2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS: The Fastest Street-Car Ever?
This is the impressive part:

"While most of its competitors use carbon-fiber passenger cells, the GT2 RS is built upon the same majority-steel unibody as other 911s, on the same assembly line in Zuffenhausen. To make up the difference, the parts bin has been exposed to radical lightweighting gamma rays: gorilla glass, magnesium roof, titanium silencer, carbon-fiber door hinges, body panels, and even stabilizer bars. Out go the plush front buckets; in go two carbon-shell racing seats, bolstered like a coffin."

Cars like this are bought by old men to lose control and total them.

Kudos to Porsche for doing a Ring King with a metal bodied car. But to @MD's point, don't drive along side for camera phone shots. The driver could lose control any minute.

Amazing how far street cars have come... this thing would probably slaughter almost any race car, even F1 cars not so many years ago.

An electric Miata is doing to kill the 911 GT2 RS? Priceless.

Sorry Bob, but the Roadster specs are for today, not the future. It blew minds for at least 3 hours doing nonstop 1.9s 0-60 launches without needing to charge the battery. The electric Miata will destroy the GT2 unless Porsche can come up with something better by 2020 (2021, let's be honest).
