LIVE: How To Watch Tesla's Unveil Of Its All-new Semi TONIGHT At 11p ET!
While a semi tractor trailer truck may not exactly be what we're use to covering here at AutoSpies, this is a unique occasion. That's because it's Tesla.

It's pretty safe to say that Tesla has been an automotive industry disruptor. That means whenever it has something all-new to roll out, it's wise to keep your eyes peeled.

Tonight marks the debut of its all-new semi. We're guessing it will be another electric vehicle from the auto manufacturer, battery/tech company or however else you'd like to categorize it.

Expectations are running very, very high and the hype is strong with this one. So, we're interested to see what will roll across the stage as Elon Musk does his pitch.

Also note: There's a chance something else may be revealed with the semi's coming out party tonight. So, stay tuned.

You can catch the broadcast here. At least that's what we're being told.

WTF, the Semi is really cool but the Roadster unveil was amazing!!! 0-60 in 1.9 seconds (!) on the base model, 250+ mph top speed, 8.9s quarter mile, 620 mile range (!!!), seats 4, convertible, $200k base price.

With the trailer so integrated into the cab, how does it make a cross-street turn or back up?

It is really interesting what they did, the trailer is not integrated into the cab but the back of the cab is hollowed out so that it can turn inside of it. Improves the aerodynamics. Makes more sense if you watch the video and look at the seam when it turns.

Shouldn't Tesla just focus on getting model 3's out the door and ramping up production rather than biting off more than they can chew with additional product lines???

I think this is a set up for yet another capital raise or to stroke share value-me thinks...

Shouldn't Tesla also focus on build quality as well? Do we really want an electric Miata?

These were worked on by separate teams, shouldn't have impacted the Model 3. In fact, they stole people from the Semi team to speed up solving production issues on the Model 3.

Watch the video and youtube follow-ups. Both Semi's are fully functioning as is the Roadster with all the specs they mentioned (those are now specs, not future specs). The only thing they didn't show was the ridiculous (both bad and good) truck based on the Semi.
