SPIED on the STREET! All-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 CONVERTIBLE Nabbed In Convoy
Caught red handed by an eagle-eyed Reddit user was the all-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which was revealed this week. There's just one slight difference between what was rolled out and what you'll see here.

That's because this week's announcement brought about the coupe variant. And now we're seeing the convertible.

This isn't our first time seeing it as we brought you video of the ZR1 Convertible equipped with the low wing way back in June.

Here's what the forum user writes:

I fish down in the florida everglades and I see these ZR1s testing fairly regularly. They come cruising by me, and often give me a nice throttle blip if I wave. They sound awesome! There's a one red-light town right by my fishing hole, where they always get caught by the light and then rip off the line when they can, they appear to be damn quick. Anyways, today I finally managed to get some cellphone pics of them. There were 3 today, a red targa with the ZTK performance pack (high wing), a dark red convertible with the low wing, and a yellow targa with the low wing. I think the pics are cool even after the unveiling yesterday because we haven't seen the low wing or the convertible yet.

Access the two other snaps here.

The waiting line will be long for the ZR1. This is a gotta have kind of car.

I have no idea why anyone buys a convertible track car. Or even a Porsche Turbo (the real one) in a convertible format. If you want that experience get a Mercedes SL.

Again - people buy these cars to be SEEN in - they are not likely to care about the performance - or that it is a "track" car. IF they have one of the few actually being made - that is what they want.

Unfortunately - the Mercedes SL is Passe' today.

The SL is for old people waiting to die.

You know, it's funny you guys mention the SL is out of fashion.

I saw a 17 SL550 today and it just didn't have that certain wow factor the R129 had and, in fact, still has.
