DRIVEN + VIDEO: WWE Superstar, John Cena, Gives Us HIS Take On The All-new Ford GT

This may sound weird to some of you, but I have zero problem admitting it. One of my favorite celebrities is the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) John Cena. 

Considering I am not a wrestling fan nor have I really watched a match since I thought it was real when I about 10 years old, I think it speaks volumes. That's because after listening to him do an interview with Howard Stern you realize he's a normal, stand up guy.

You can't hate on that.

All that said, he's been getting into the automotive world a bit by hosting a series dubbed Auto Geek on his wife's YouTube channel. Being that she's also involved with the WWE, it seems as if the couple have no problem doing some cross promotion for each other.

In his latest installment, Cena gets behind the wheel of an all-new Ford GT. Obviously because the vehicles are so staggeringly rare, it's a bit of a shock that a dealer let him take one for a spin. At least we think it's a dealer car since Cena didn't note that it was his and there's an explicit shoutout to the dealer. 

While he may not get every fact right, I think it's cool to scope out the clip below for a couple reasons: 1) He clearly is excited by autos, so, he's an enthusiast; and, 2) He's an ordinary guy, which gives us perspective as to how normal people perceive something like a GT — Sure, he knows enough about cars but he's not an encyclopedia of knowledge.

@BobM - Pointing out things my in Canada is my thing. And yes it is. Ford makes a lot of different types of cars around the world, but making one completely from carbon fibre is not one of their skill sets. Multimatic has that skill and has worked with Ford in the past on other projects.
