Tesla Is Focusing On The Germans, But Shouldn't They Be Looking At The Chinese Instead?
Tesla CEO Elon Musk likes to publicly taunt mainstream automakers whenever he can. For example, last summer he demonstrated to Tesla employees the Model 3’s safety compared to the Volvo S60 with side-impact crash test results. AMEN! The Chinese will focus and obliterate Tesla. I've watched the bigotry here of people bashing the Chinese. Underestimating the Chinese is what idiots do.

He should be very careful when taunting companies that are controlled by the Chinese government. They control the supply of rare earth minerals that be needs to make all his batteries.

Someone should clue Musk in on the fact that his competitor is NOT the S60 but one of the upcoming electric models. And I note that Musk avoided mentioning of the severe damage hisModel S cars have received (over $10,000) from 3 MPH collisions. Or hey Elon, how about displaying those photos of your Model S cars that caught fire and incinerated the vehicle beyond all recognition. Musk only addresses his fans - no questions that would embarrass his cars.

I think Tesla should rather focus on them self and sort our their production issues...

As far as crash testing goes, the Model S "failed" the IIHS small overlap crash test twice due to seat belt issues.
