#LAAUTOSHOW: TEASERS, A-Listers, HOT Cars & Trucks — The LA Auto Show Is JUST Around The Corner, Get Dialed In Today
When you think of Los Angeles, what's one of the first things to come to mind? Probably not that it essentially doesn't have an effective public transportation system. Probably that it is one of the epicenters of the modern car culture.

LA — and greater SoCal — provides an amazing, eclectic mix of automotive life. You can find anything from lowriders to jacked-up trucks to supercars to Spoon-equipped Hondas. It really is a melting pot for automotive culture.

2017 Los Angeles Auto Show Preview

And we like to think that the Los Angeles Auto Show brings some of that flavor to the party. While it's not one of the most important auto shows of the year, it's clear to us that manufacturers have made it more important in 2017. That's because there's some heavy hitters debuting in la la land just next week.

Take, for example, the all-new Jeep Wrangler. Or, how about the long wheelbase Lexus RX? Then there's the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Infiniti QX50 and more.

Our blood is beginning to stir.

Having said that, scope out some of the latest teasers and see the photos from our archives of previous LA Auto Shows. Man, that Lotus soireé looked like it may have been a blast. Talking BIG plans with Sharon Stone, Paul Stanley and Billy Baldwin.

Stay tuned to AutoSpies for the latest news regarding the LA Auto Show.

The LA Autoshow is ALWAYS pointless, dull, and boring. You get to see all the recycled concepts that have debuted, been seen, and forgotten. You get world premiers like an all-new Jetta (with only a new grille to make it all new). There just isn't much to redeem the Los Angeles show. Sure, it's a fun day out, but little else.

I have fun at the LA Autoshow. Man you really need to lighten up and live a little. And PLEASE go to therapy to so something about your obsession with VAG.

@bw5011 The LA Auto Show is ideal for old people to go to so they can get out, do some walking, crop dust, and then go home and collapse.

I typically would agree with you when it comes to the LAAS, Matt. Problem is this year is shaping up to be interesting with a bunch of all-new/interesting vehicles.

- All-new Mercedes CLS
- All-new Jeep Wrangler
- Concept Toyota FT
- All-new Infiniti QX50
- All-new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet
- All-new Volvo XC40

And there's more...

@Agent00R How can vehicles debut when they've already been seen? The problem with the LA show remains that all of the supposed draws are essentially old news.

Yeah, I look forward to seeing some cars, but none of those blows me...out of the water that is.

Toyota should build the FT4X concept faithfully and not water it down. I assume that is what you were referring to.

I typically make an overnighter of it. See the show. Return to the hotel for martinis (Belvedere), obvious a fillet mignon, and hanging out with my brother and his husband (intense car snobs). LOL That's the only redeeming value for me.

My accountant says I can write it off, so there you go.

I'll wear my "Make Agent00R Great Again" hat and look for you.
