#LAAUTOSHOW: The THIRD Installment Of The All-new Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class Has Arrived — Most REVEALING Yet
It's yet another "slow reveal." Again, another teaser fed to us directly from Mercedes-Benz.

While the pressure is building for the three-pointed star to deliver another mega car to the market, we're wondering how the marque is going to blow us away with the all-new CLS-Class. Obviously, it too will benefit from the huge, dual infotainment displays.

But, what else?

From what we can tell in this clip, the all-new front end will echo exactly what we've seen in the latest and greatest spy shots — the headlights are more angular — and its taillights look rather Italian a la Maserati's Gran Turismo or the first-gen, German Audi S5.

Something tells me that won't exactly break new ground though. There needs to be something...else. According to the tag line, this will be the original, perfected. What does that mean to you, Spies?

Be prepared for the brand-new Mercedes-Benz CLS (2018): In 2003, with the CLS, Mercedes-Benz created a new vehicle segment that for the first time combined the elegance and dynamism of a coupé with the comfort and functionality of a saloon. With the third generation of the CLS, Mercedes-Benz is now building more strongly than ever on the aura and unique character of this trendsetting model.

The first CLS was ugly. The second one was uglier. THIS ONE however seems like it could be a home run. I like the teaser vid's images a lot.

Well everything is not for everybody. I have the 08 and I love it. It still looks current....and stands out because of it's "squashed bug" (as Mom calls it) look. I love my squashed bug :)

Not sure there is to reveal. These 66 photos published over a month ago pretty much show the design, despite the camo.

Interesting.
I have no use for any of the car magazines anymore. They are USUALLY so dated in their reporting in this day and time.
I'm really liking this car.

Seems much larger than the previous version, so Mercedes will need to intro a new model to slot in below it.

I don't believe it is much larger. It appears that Mercedes made the roofline more in line with the first generation, less bulbous than the outgoing model. So that might give the body the appearance of legnth.

However, it may be larger to accommodate more rear seat space. Now that the AMG-GT4 will take over the sportier 4-door coupe role for the brand, it might allow the CLS to hold truer to its "S" designation
