DRIVEN + VIDEO: The FINAL Seven — Top Gear's Chris Harris Names His FAVS From 2017, Can YOU Do Better?
It's amazing how polarizing the automotive industry is today. One one hand you have the electrification and autonomous movement pushing as fast as it can. On the other, there's a never-ending pursuit for an emotional driving experience.

For enthusiasts, I think it's safe to say that we read the writing on the wall. High-performance vehicles, as we know them, are living on borrowed time.

Think of the latest and greatest as the last hurrah.

Having said that, the most insane vehicles have been put together by Top Gear's Chris Harris. In this pretty short clip, Harris slices and dices the top 13 picks to deliver us the lucky seven.

Do you agree with his choices? Is he missing one or more? What say you, Spies?

Chris Harris whittles down thirteen of the finest performance cars of the year into the final seven contenders, to then take on a road trip to Scotland. Which ones would you have chosen?

Matt, I don't think Giulia is a car. Based on the commercials I am thinking she(?) is an Italian take on those new sex robots. Maybe those will be tested in a future episode?

Most of his choices makes sense. But Polo GTI? And he chose the 911 GT3 over the AMG GT despite stating that the AMG did better at the track but the GT3 apparently is better in the real. Should be a tight race between the Ford GT and the McLaren 720.
