Battle Of The Titans: Audi RS5 Vs BMW-M4 Vs Mercedes-AMG C63S

BMW’s M4 has been refreshed and the new Audi RS5 does the numbers to put the frighteners on a full-blown supercar, but can either see off the Mercedes-AMG C63 S? Over 3000 miles on road and track the evo supertest provided the answer.

The new RS5 is 60kg lighter with a 444bhp twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 in the nose replacing the old V8. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a faster-reacting four-wheel-drive system.

I'd take the C63S easily in this crowd. The M4 Competition next. Maybe the scared shitless look of Lieberman in his MT review of the RS5 makes me a bit biased, but it would still be my 3rd choice. Maybe 4th choice had they included the ATS-V coupe.

These types of reviews just baffle me, where many comments on each particular car is almost the opposite of what the majority of other reviewers have stated. Oh, well. That's what subjectivity and paychecks do, I guess.

And Evo contradicts themselves when in an individual review of the C63S previously, they mentioned the "premium" cabin, but here they claim build quality questions. Not much different than the types of contradictions, say, C&D makes on a consistent basis, almost to find reasons to place specific cars in specific order.

The Mercedes will outsell all the other cars -they probably do not care about anything else.

Should be the Teen Titans. Save the big title for the twin turbo V12 monster sedans.

I'd take the Audi. Best looking and most usable of the three.
