There are PLENTY of sports cars out there - if Nissan believes it cannot compete in the segment- (Based on sales and profit)- they should not. THEy should continue to make more old people cars from Infiniti - that compete with Buick. At least they make money on those.

The recipe for the Z Car is simple.

Make it look like a 240Z

Give it a 2.4T engine as the 240Z.
Give it the V6 as a 370Z.
Give it a V8 as a 560Z.

Price it to the penny like a Mustang.

Indeed. The GTR and the Z Car really belong to the Infiniti mindset, but as sold next to Versas with plastic wheel covers.

Wait the Infiniti Q60 has a different platform than the Z???? Well who knew, because if you listened to all the Europhile "infinitis are buicks" fanboys on here you would've thought this was 1989 and all the Infinitis were rebadges.
