Drag race launching at 1000 frames per second.

I always find it interesting when normally high speed movement is captured via a high speed camera. This video shows a couple funny cars and a top fuel launching off the line in slow motion. The amount that the tires twist is amazing considering these same tires will bring the car up to 300MPH in under 5 seconds.

I've really never understood the physics behind wrinkle slicks. Pretty neat effect just the same, though!
