Morgan Stanley Wants Telsa To Join Forces With SpaceX
We have recently increasing numbers of collaborations between Tesla and SpaceX, two companies co-founded and led by Elon Musk.

Now an analyst suggests that the two companies could nurture an even closer relationship over time, including “possible strategic partnerships, technology transfer, co-investment and potentially a combination.”

The report comes from Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jonas, one of the most prominent financial analyst covering Tesla.

SpaceX is already profitable and they have undercut the competition so much they have a near monopoly now on sending things into space. They are 5+ years ahead of Lockheed & Boing.

Not to mention the 10s of billions that all of us lost bailing out the US auto industry. Those are loans that will never be repaid. The tax incentives the oil industry gets make EV and ZEV subsidies a rounding error.

Don't go by P&L statements alone, check out the cash flow statement. Early R&D development costs and capital spending are booked as assets and amortized to P&L over many years. Have not seen Space X cash flow statement but wouldn't surprise me if this is the case.
