Stanford Study Says Trump Supporting Towns Prefer Trucks

The trite stereotype that Trump voters drive pickups and Hillary supporters drive sedans might contain some truth, according to an artificial intelligence algorithm developed at Stanford University.

The researchers, who published their findings in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences this month, created a database of the cars in 200 U.S. cities by pooling millions of images from Google Street View and running it against voting and demographic data. The margin of error of the algorithm's predictions was small.
