We Saw The Z4 Concept Months Ago, So Where The Heck Is The Toyota Supra?
Oh, hello there. I will assume that you who are reading these words right now enjoy good things in life. For instance, a certain surge of joy potentially brought on by the appearance of the new Toyota Supra at the Detroit Auto Show. Well, I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but it won’t be there. Sorry.

We were highly doubtful that the new Supra would appear at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. And we were right: it wasn’t there. That didn’t stop us from hoping, though. It was Los Angeles, after all: a place filled with sun. A perfect place to unveil a sporty coupe. And a smaller show as well, so nothing really to steal the Supra’s spotlight away. No such luck.

Like the NSX, delayed introduction will hurt. These are enthusiast's cars and delays only add to introduction being viewed as "old news" and diminishes the "wow" factor and social media buzz. Just saying...

Their "modern TVR" show car should have been productionized by now, but think the styling got watered down. They are probably wondering if they have another GT86 disaster on their hands i.e. an overpriced-for-what-you-get sports coupe this no one takes seriously.
