Toyota To Bring 10 EVs To Market In 2020 - Currently Offers None
Toyota Motor Corp., facing a “now or never” crisis as it confronts a rapidly changing industry, is suddenly plunging into the electric vehicle race with plans to roll out more than 10 EVs worldwide by the early 2020s.

Toyota, which currently doesn’t offer a single EV nameplate, said it would introduce the first EV in China and then gradually introduce them in Japan, India, the U.S. and Europe.

2020 appears to be the year that there will be LOTS of choices on the market for EVs from many manufacturers.

SO - How many will make them to look like a regular car - instead of like a Hot WHeels toy? I would suspect that the pricing will come in near $40,000 for most - and by then - few $7500 tax credits will be left standing for Tesla - but might be available for others. Will that mean people will follow the money?

If this deluge of EVs happens--given that EVs are still a tiny fraction of the market--there will be a glut and these greenmobiles will have money on the hood to get rid of them.
