Some How Faraday Future Has Secured ANOTHER Billion In Cash
Despite showing it off to whoever was willing to test it and had the money to sponsor the company or the public presence to boost its image, and despite all climbing off the FF 91 smiling, the cash wasn't as easy to come by for the U.S. car manufacturer wannabe backed by Chinese billionaire Jia Yueting.

Why isn't Yueting investing the money, if he's such a big shot businessman, you might ask. Well, the truth he's seen better days, and so has his LeEco empire. The Chinese entrepreneur bit off a little more than he could chew, and his startups started crashing down one by one. Things in China aren't exactly great either as he's just been added to the government's blacklist of defaulters, so he'd be forgiven if Faraday Future's fate wasn't exactly at the top of his mind.

That's easy to do. Just look to Tesla for ongoing examples. There are lots of people who believe that investing in these companies is a wise decision that'll pay off.

By the way, I'm seeing cutting-edge news that alleges new battery technology breakthroughs are happening. For example, a new sodium-based battery allows extremely rapid recharging in minutes, so an EV recharge time could be similar (a little longer?) to a gasoline vehicle's pump refuel time, rather than half an hour or more. Also, sodium is a lot cheaper and much more readily available than the lithium used in today's batteries. Another battery company in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, alleges to have a battery that's cheaper than today's lithium batteries, and is 3 times more energy dense. That means 3x more range.

If these claims are true, and they get to market, then they'll be EV game-changers. Picture an EV than can fully recharge in under 10 minutes, and have a real-world range of 750 miles!

Of course, there will still be questions like battery life, replacement cost, vehicle purchase price, how well does the EV work in the cold, like in North Dakota, recharger station ubiquity, etc. The great news is we're making considerable advances.

009: The headline should be...'Somehow' ... (not 'Some How').
