UAW President Thinks Ford Makes Enough Profit And Believes We Need Higher Taxes

UAW President Dennis Williams condemned Ford Motor's strategy to move production of electric vehicles from Michigan to Mexico and noted the silence of President Donald Trump on Ford's recent announcement.

"I'm angry at Ford," he said during an interview Tuesday with the Free Press. "It has an opportunity to do something for the state of Michigan and the United States of America. People in Mexico are not going to buy electric vehicles. And we desperately need high-paying jobs and technology here. I mean, 7% of vehicle cost is labor. How much do they need to make in profits?"

The UAW is a big fascist-socialist juggernaut, so of course they want to raise taxes. Fascist and socialist are not mutually exclusive by the way. The Alt-Left has been quite adept in fusing them into something euphemistically called "progressivism". Of course, anyone with a brain knows it's really "regressivism".

For the record: “Alt.Right” is a term coined by, and applied to conservative extremists, under the umbrella of White Nationalists (AKA White Supremacists), the KKK, Nazis (Neo and original flavor), the radicalized Christian Right, and others. These people created the term, and they apply it to themselves (i.e., they self-identify as being Alt.Right).

“Alt.Left” is a term created by, and used by member of the Alt.Right to mean “anyone who is not one of us” (i.e., not Alt.Right). Although it is indented to paint the target as a Left-Wing Political Extremist, or being politically correct, Alt.Right-ers also apply the label to members of the Democratic Party, liberal thinkers, persons of social conscience (like Bernie Sanders), environmentalists, individuals and scientists who believe in climate change, political moderates, supporters of LGBTQ rights, anti-war protestors, etc., and even people who oppose the current president and/or the Republican Party.

Members of the Alt.Right use the term “Alt.Left” as a pejorative, much like some Americans might use the term Communist or Socialist to incite visions of “the Devil” or “ultimate evil.” Nobody self-identifies as being Alt.Left.

_____

Important Note: The post above does not indicate nor imply that I support the UAW’s position… though some Alt.Right-ers might insist that it does.

@TheSteve, nicely explained. However you based it on facts and that is not something valued here or across large swaths of the US for that matter. Nobody will point out inaccuracies as there are none. Instead you will just be ridiculed.

@MD - Stay in the Light. The Post is strong with you, perhaps stronger than all others, but beware the Dark Side. Fearful posts are the path to the Dark Side, Fear leads to Hate, Hate to Anger and Anger to Suffering. And Suffering leads to final Banishment.

Odd that Ford would move the production of cars with a very high degree of cutting edge IP to that market. Most keep that sort of production at the home office. As for taxes, anyone who has taken ECON 101 knows you don't goose an economy with fiscal policy levers that is humming along at 3% with record low unemployment and a roaring Stock Market. Especially if your nation is $20T in debt. You wait, monitor and if anything are prepared to tap the brakes (raise interest rates slightly) to make sure inflation is kept at bay.

Unions =Job Killing Business Cancer.

Funny how all these asshole labor heads never seem to disclose their massive 6 figure salaries to all the little people that they extort money from in the form of Union dues. Time to ban Unions as they are not needed any longer with current labor legislation.
