Maserati is the one that should be building a larger SUV on the QP sized platform, not Alfa. Alfa should have a an SUV one size above the Stelvio (Levante size) and one a size below the Stelvio. Maserati doesn’t need a Stelvio sized SUV, marcchioni needs to pull a DeTomaso and purge Maserati of all the deadwood from Chrysler.

I'm baffled at the number of Stelvios (and Levante) I'm seeing not the road. I've seen more than I've seen of the Giulia.

The reason for that is because they are being marketed and sold by the same people in Auburn Hills that was able to bankrupt Chrysler in spite of having Jeep. And just to make sure they could completely screw it up, they appointed Chrysler dealers to sell Maseratis and Alfa. Talk about history repeating itself, look at Maserati in the mid 80s and Alfa in the early 90s with ARDONA. Both partnered with Chrysler, both were out of North America by the mid 90s. Shame because the product is fantastic.

Why does that baffle you? Are you oblivious to the collapse of the sedan market?
