Let me just give it to you straight: Some auto shows are a bit peculiar. In some cases, they're downright weird. 

And SoCal's San Diego is not any different. After seeing some of these shots, you may wonder what the hell's going on in America's Finest City.

Definitely weird.

We get a kick out of the stupidity of stuff like that, or for example, the dummy located in the car at the auto show.

I have vivid memories of the San Diego area from when I was 14-15. I used to drive down there--obviously no license or insurance--and have all sorts of fun. Never made it to the car show. I did go to a low rider show in Chicano park I think it was called. I can look vaguely Latino if I try. :)
