AUDI lost a sale from us, they wanted just as much for a Q5 Prestige than a Macan (basically same car but nicer). Porsche gave us a better deal than AUDI.

Audi didn't lose anything from you.

Audi cannot keep Q5s on the lot. I’m sure they sold it to someone else without a problem.

One of the smartest things Audi did was bring over the A5 Sportback, though it may be impacting the A4 sales.

Audi's extremely strong results for December 2017 and the year as a whole prove it has been launching products that consumers increasingly want. The A5 Sportback, Q7 and Q5 have been popular with buyers. Most importantly, these are Audi's three newest products for the U.S. market indicating its latest combination of design, technology, performance and luxury is winning over buyers.

Q5 is in XTS, 3-Series, C-Class sales territory. Look for it to be a consistent #2 finisher behind the RX.

Even with its garishness, I'd rather have the RX.

My wife loves the new SQ5 we picked up and judging by the looks and comments, most other people she encounters does as well.

Just 3 out of 12 models carrying their gains isn't great. Especially entry level failing along with MB/BMW.

It's better than BMW's double-digit decline for the 3-Series.
