Electric cars are getting more practical by the day, but once the barrier to convenience is broken—enabling ranges in the 500-mile range and up while charge times drop to 10 minutes or less—it’s game over for the internal combustion engine. Despite the clout that Henrik Fisker’s name carries in the automotive world, the designer turned entrepreneur would like little more than to shorten the time frame it takes that vision becomes a reality, according to what he told Autocar.

THere are going to be a LOT of high priced high end EVS on the market in the next 3/4 years - and I just do not see the Demand for them. People who can afford $100,000 dollar cars really do not care about being green for the most part -and they can afford higher priced gas too.

I am still waiting for the EV that can actually make a profit without government subsidies and tax benefits - and I doubt I will see it anytime soon. Hell- we might even have a new TVR on the market before then!
