FIRST Real Life Interior Shot Nabbed Of BMW's 8 Series

It was only yesterday when a couple of fully revealing images depicting the production-ready BMW 8 Series emerged onto the web and now we get to see the interior cabin. Well, at least most of the dashboard. It comes as no surprise the road-going model will be staying true to the concept before it, but obviously toned down as the center console won’t look as sleek as the one seen above in the showcar.

Pretty divergent from the concept. Pretty disappointing too. So much shiny stuff. However, I do like the size and placement of the center information screen.

Size of center screen is catching up to MB and Lexus. Latest 7-Series is still small for today standard.

BMW's are well built but time after time they loose their courage to bring to market more dynamic designs, both the exterior and interior. I was hoping for more based on concept car. Underwhelmed.

With Mercedes releasing the ultra sleek interiors of the new generation E and S class vehicles, BMW was forced to finally get onto their game and bring out a new awesome interior that was the equal or exceeded what Mercedes had.
