#NAIAS: CONFIRMED Electric AMG Models Will Be Sooner Rather Than Later

Mercedes-Benz is considering the addition of all-electric models to its AMG sub-brand, despite the in-house tuning division long time devotion to thunderous V8s.

AM I missing something here?

According to the quote - "it is not a concrete program right now - but it is conceivable" - I would interpret that as they do NOT have any expected EV production - the exact opposite of what the title of the thread says.

Has the AMerican (once english) language changed so much that things mean the opposite of what I was taught in school?

It probably means that once Mercedes designs its EVs, they will pretend AMG is a separate company and not a badge they glue on and then glue on AMG badges and call it a day. AMG no longer means anything special.
