Alfa Romeo 6C To Challenge Jaguar F-Type And Porsche 911
The Alfa Romeo 6C - a V6-engined rival to the Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911 - is due to arrive in early 2020 following a motor show debut in the next 24 months, says tuning company Pogea Racing.

Following in the footsteps of the 8C, the 6C will be named after the number of cylinders under the bonnet, indicating that the 503bhp V6 from the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio will be used. Electrification isn’t ruled out, but an all-electric powertrain would likely be sidestepped - Maserati will bring the all-electric Alfieri to market in the same year, so the two would likely clash.

So the Alfa Romeo Fiero's (4C) lack of sales success makes them think a V6 Fiero will be better? So we'll get another va-jay-jay faced mess at what?? $150K???

Shouldn't a 911/F Type competitor come from Maserati???

Alfa isn't a premium brand. FCA may think so, but its history is so NOT premium. The Alfasud was the only premium Alfa ever made.

Really one the most valuable cars in the world is an Alfa, we’re talking 250 GTO money. I’d call that just slightly premium.

So Alfa makes ONE car that was radically out of their wheelhouse and you think that imbues the entire brand with premium status?

So I guess the years or building restyled Fiats don't count.

I guess the years and years before Fiat of flailing with cars that were rust buckets with rampant component failures must have been the premium ones.
