UAW Bribery Investigation Widens, Turning Focus On GM And Ford
A plea deal released last week in the UAW-FCA scandal has laid bare what a tangled web the corruption case has become: Federal officials are questioning whether recent contract agreements are valid, union leadership is under siege from angry rank-and-file members and more charges are expected.

The plea deal was between federal officials and ex-Fiat Chrysler Automobiles labor relations chief Alphons Iacobelli, who pleaded guilty last week to two of seven charges related to his role in siphoning more than $4.5 million in training center funds to union and company officials.

So many effing morons here... cept Matt. This union corruption has been going on since day one. The news here is the employees of the company ( note: I won’t use Socialist words like “workers”) have had it, IE: union leadership is under siege from angry rank-and-file members. Glad Michigan is now a right to work state and these corrupt unions will hopefully die. THIS is unions, pure corruption. Love the name calling TheSteve, no Mcarthyism just facts... dim bulb

@TheSteve Today, McCarthy and his tactics would be the toast of the hateful Alf-Lefters like yourself. Spare me--no spare us all--your triggered essay response.

@xjug1987a keep 'em triggered I say.

History lesson for MDarringer: The infamous Joseph McCarthy was a staunch conservative, and a member of the the Republican party. He was infamous for his "McCarthy Witch Hunts," in which he decimated innocent people's lives on groundless accusations and fabricated testimony claiming they were communists and engaged in "Anti-American activities."

History records McCarthy (and McCarthyism) as the delusional, paranoid fear of "the communist threat", but in actuality being nothing more that hate directed at anyone who wasn't a staunch conservative. This rings true of you, Matt, as well as your fellow Alt.Right-ers here on AutoSpies.

McCarthy is also known for being on the receiving end of of the now famous quote, "...Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?" (Joseph Nye Welch, during Senate hearings).

So the McCarthy-esque pattern of hate fits you to a T, including your paranoid fear of the "Liberal-Socialist-Fascist-Communist cabal" (your words, recorded earlier in this forum). It's McCarthyism, to a T!

I would love to ask you, as Joseph Welch asked McCarthy, "Have you no sense of decency, sir," but we already know that answer, don't we?

Alt.Right repertoire: Hate, deflection, derision, and nit-picking. That's you, Matt. The record, in the form of your posts, clearly shows that, right down to you getting triggered by anything that is inconsistent with Alt.Right hate-based doctrine. And you claim others are triggered, when they merely present facts that shine an unflattering spotlight on what you are.

@xjug1987a Looks like Steve wrote another of his hateful, anti-freedom-of-speech essays that is designed to bully people ideologically. The sad thing is that Steve cannot admit how hateful he is of people different from him nor can he own up to how intolerant he is. Everyone sees that the Democrats have created a new political ideology that fuses socialism, fascism, and communism. All three of those ideologies depend on people to abandon intelligent, rational thought and to become vicious, hateful pit-bull, attack dogs whose only function is to stifle anyone who still thinks coherently. I give you the idiocy we all know as TheSteve.

Matty, you have once again provided an example of the Nazi who calls those who oppose him oppressors and haters. (Reference to the Charlottesville Nazi marchers who felt they were wrongs by people who oppose Nazis).

You have the freedom to hate, as you so readily express. You have the freedom to denigrate others, and to be a bigot, as you so often display. This is the way of the Alt.Right, the Nazis, the White Supremacists. This is your way, as you so amply demonstrate in your posts.

Meanwhile, I also have the freedom to shine the spotlight on you and your ilk, and to call you out for what you are! And like that Charlottesville Nazi marcher who got identified on social media, and then cried about how people are mean to him, you do the same by attempting to portray those who oppose Nazis (me) as being worse than the Nazis themselves (you). (Again, reference to "Nazi" is a metaphor, as I don't know if Matt as actually a Nazi... but we do know he's a militant, radical, hateful Alt.Righter, as the AutoSpies record shows).

Remember Matt, you came to the defense of BobM, the self-professed racist Alt.Right-er, who got banned from AutoSpies. It's clear which side each of us are on.

To be hated by Alt.Right-ers -- such as yourself and a handful of others on AutoSpies -- is an honor and a privilege! Thank you for that distinction. It was the goodness and love in the hearts of great Americans that opposed the Nazis and their Third Reich. The same goes on today, in those who oppose the festering hate in the Alt.Right, with its Nazi ideology.

TheSteve needs to go get a job, Waaaaaaay to much time to waste spewing his anger. I suggest a job in Cuba where he’ll find his comfort. We’re just fine here in our Representative Republic...
