Audi Finalizes The Q8 Crossover - Could It Eventually Lead The Segment?
Audi continues to put the final touches on its edgy Q8 crossover and as these spy shots indicate, BMW X6 owners may soon start regretting their choice of SUV.

First unveiled in concept guise, the Audi Q8 will be slightly longer, wider, and shorter than both the X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. Not as a flagship SUV. If it was an in-between for the Q5 and Q7, it might make more sense, but it looks pretty "normal", like any ole 2-seat SUV on the market today.

That depends on how YOU define the segment - I still consider Audi to be what it was when I was younger - ie - second tier Luxury- that competes with Lexus, Infiniti, Volvo, and Buick. THat they attempted to move upscale only means their prices - like those of Volvo - have gone beyond their standing to me.

I would expect that the Buick Enclave would compete with this vehicle in sales.

So it'll look more like the Urus. This will be both serious & comical.

I would expect this to be the platform for Audi to roll out a true "S" SUV.

I expect an "SQ8" version with a 600HP TT-V8 and a super posh, quilted leather interior.

Why buy a Urus?
