I have to level with you, Spies. A part of me feels bad for folks that have to go through bankruptcy or a repossession. People fall on hard times and, well, can't make ends meet. You have to feel for those individuals that need help in desperate times.

On the other hand, there's some people out there that just simply aren't doing their best — nor want to — and outspend what they're taking in. I can't feel sympathy for these types.

While we obviously have no idea of this particular individual's situation, someone in New York had an interesting repo event.

Posted to Instagram, a video shows a repo truck that has picked up a BMW X5. There's just one problem: The owner, who must have lapsed in making their payments, is in the X5 and trying to get the vehicle free.

No word if they succeeded.

Note: NSFW, due to language in the video clip.

Oh yay oh yay, cone yo mama gway bo ????‍????

Even if the repo man is taking the wrong car, you don't get in it and try to keep it. You'd call 911 and report a theft in progress. Seeing no police officers present, it's safe to assume that this was a legitimate repossession. 100% of the damage to the vehicle is the liability of the douchebag owner skipping out on the payments, so let him spin his wheels. I have a friend who does repossessions and years ago I'd ride along. Psychos like this moron owner were common.

You buy the car, you pay your payments, if you can't anymore, return the car.
So simple to understand yet so many idiots think otherwise, blame the today's entitlement syndrome most people have.

The entitled unicorns think they "deserve" the best without earning it first.

Repo of a Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia = feel sad for the person losing the vehicle

Repo of a BMW, Benz, or Audi = owner must be a deserving, douche-bag poseur who duped the finance company into letting him (its almost never a 'her') drive off the dealer lot with their vehicle.

The fact is that there are a lot of dealers who simply don't care and will find financing no matter how bad the customer is. They don't care about the blow back when the person is upside down and failing.

A Mitsubishi dealer I know sells Mirages to people who will default. Then those cars are repossessed and put out to auction.
