Polestar Contemplates Increased Production Of 600HP Polestar 1 Coupe

Polestar, Volvo's recently launched stand-alone brand for high-performance electrified models, is already mulling whether to increase production for its debut model.

Since last October, more than 5,000 people have said they are interested in the chance to purchase the Polestar 1

The 600-hp plug-in hybrid coupe with a 93-mile electric-only range is expected to cost roughly $160,000-$185,000.

Not sure which market this is for. Why would you get this over an i8 if you wanted a hybrid or a P100D (for $40k less) if you wanted an EV.
