Faraday Future Execs Raked In Lavish Salaries As Bankruptcy Loomed
Late last month, the seemingly incapable-of-escaping-trouble electric car startup Faraday Future filed a lawsuit against a new rival helmed by its former chief financial officer, Stefan Krause. This week, Krause’s company fired back, and, consequently, revealed just how much top FF execs earned while the company circled the drain.

Faraday’s lawsuit spells out a number of steamy allegations, namely that Krause—along with other FF execs—solicited several employees at the startup to join him at a new venture, tentatively named EVelozcity. The suit also cites former chief former chief technology officer, Ulrich Kranz, as being part of the allege scheme. Kranz—who joined Krause at EVelozcity—resigned from Faraday in October, one day after Krause’s departure.

Yes, And middle class america is all for executives living lavish no matter how bad they mismanage. The rich and wealthy can do no wrong in the eyes of the average american. Just look at the 2 posts above this one. They don't even care that execs are raking in the dough while claiming bankruptcy, they're more concerned about the Clintons. LOL!!!

This scheme is not news. It happened when GM and Chrysler were going under. It happened to the select financial institutions after the Sub-Prime financial meltdown and related bailouts. It happened at ENRON... well, you get the picture.

The shareholders were screwed while execs made off like bandits, raiding the corporate coffers, and typically protected by law, and never seeing a courthouse as a result.

LexSucks my Clinton comment was a play on joneshamilton's comment you moron but the Faraday was butt ass ugly.

Our bankruptcy laws need to be amended as it is too easy to tank a company, screw the creditors/investors and abscond with vast sums of ill gotten cash LEGALLY. This is very common in the construction and cement industries. Many of these charlatans operate numbered companies as the legal entity but use a DBA name. These numbered corps are often BK'd to screw creditors or weasel out of warranty claims and new numbered corps are created and the thiefs continue operating with the same DBA name, equipment and clientele like nothing has happened.

I know of one guy who had a string of shoe stores whom went BK, bought his own inventory back for pennies on the dollar and reopened in the same store locations with a different name weeks latter selling his old inventory.

Where is the balancing act? I don't know as if you make it too restrictive people wont start businesses anymore if there is too much personal risk, guarantees and red tape. I recently got hit by a big customer whom knowingly committed fraud by misrepresenting liquidity and financial health. In these situations the corporate veil should be pierced and the officers should be personally liable. This would be a good start.

If bankruptcies should be tied to political figures, I think Trump is the undisputed champ - he got at least 4 under his big belly and still a billionaire. Bankruptcy reform will wait as we as a nation has a big one coming.

Deregulate or don’t regulate in the first place. This is an excellent country to run these types of scams. Didn’t one of our prominent politicians go bankrupt a number of times? Wonder how he or she made out? Just can’t quite remember whic politician it was. From the above comments I am guessing it was Clinton.

The political right, who claims to want to "deregulate," speaks in half-truths. In reality, they want to remove laws they don't like, and put in laws that serve their agenda... just like everyone else!

One example is how the Political Right virtually eliminates family planning clinics in some states by using zoning laws, targeted at providers of those services specifically, with the intent to eliminate their operation and to obfuscate that key fact.

@joneshamilton and if you look at the number of black abortions as a % and compare that % to the % they are of the public at large, you could easily argue genocide. When you look at "recidivism" black women are much more likely to kill a fetus multiple times. YET, black leaders kneel and bob the Alt-Left who want to enslave them and take their votes.

@xjug1987a The Steve will be unable to resist writing another essay with a little footnote at the bottom.
