Agent 001 INVADES BMW's Test Fest And Gives YOU The Juice — OVER 250 Snaps Of Goodness
It's not every day you receive an invite from BMW to come out for a couple days and drive most of its product portfolio in one fell swoop. But, we did.

Agent 001 was invited to take part in BMW Group's Test Fest, which is how the holding company decided to introduce products from across the range — this includes BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce. Made up on mostly all-new products, there was quite a list to choose from.

That said, 001 got to experience the latest and greatest from the BMW AG trio. And, he had two options: On-track or on the open road as BMW brought him out to BMW Performance Center West in Thermal.

To give you just a taste of what's to come, scope out his snaps from the event. As of now there's over 250 excellent shots that were taken in true AutoSpies steed: Detailed and with great affection.

Palm Springs is always fun. All you need is a hot body, a winning smile, and the ability to follow through on the promise of it all to make it big. I love the place.

I believe it is. I'm actually surprised the meth addicts divert any of their drug money to their cars.

I continue to be amazed (and not in a good way) about the scatter-shot diversity of BMW's model lineup.

BMW is really trying to very hard to offer "something for everyone" but are approaching the point where they offer "nothing for anyone".

From watered-down M's, to the vanilla mainstream Bimmers, to the nutso "i" line of electrics, its hard to figure out what exactly BMW stands for anymore.

Plus, there still seems to be a hard-core group of BMW lifers who thinks that splashing garish "BMW Individual" paint and leather on a 3-series makes it more desirable and prestigious, instead of just tacky and gaudy.

Rolls Royce may be another story, but I wonder if it is profitable for them, once all the development costs are amortized.

I am deeply saddened as to how BMW has lost its way. Plus their performance engines just burn tons of oil. In NYC, I often drive by the BMW Manhattan dealer on W57th/11th and I can't count how many times I was in the neighborhood when a 2-yr old Alpina, or M, or TT V8 powered BMW (750i) goes trundling into the basement garage service department trailing a cloud of blue-white smoke out of their tailpipes.

BMW's lineup makes little sense.

Palm Springs is fun, but this isn't where the fun is. LOL
