#NYIAS: GREEN WIth Envy — We're Pretty Sure There's Many Jealous Automakers Jealous That Can't Produce An Interior Like The Porsche 911 GT3RS
If you've been searching for what is essentially a race car for the street, then there's really two options that will get you as close as possible. First, you have the Ford GT and, second, you have the Porsche 911 GT3RS.

There's just one thing extra special with the Porsche, however. As far as I can tell, no one comes close to outfitting an interior like Porsche.

See MORE shots of the Porsche 911 GT3RS HERE!

From the fully lined Alcantara dashboard to the Alcantara steering wheel to the Alcantara upholstered door panels to the 918-style sport seats that are carbon fiber-backed, it just oozes sex appeal for automotive enthusiasts. In its latest form, post refresh, though it's just going for broke.

That's because the show car is not only painted an extremely bright green on the outside, its interior benefits from the use of GREEN Alcantara inserts and matching green seat belts. Porsche is NOT playing it safe with its usual, safe color schemes.

And we love them for it.

All that said, scope out Porsche's handiwork, below.

I would pass on the writing stitched into the headrest. The exterior of the car is screaming, I could do with some calm on the inside. A stamped Porsche crest would be ok.

Agreed.

What the hell happened to German automakers and their love for discretion? Out the window these days!

A little over the top with that comment. This car is the king of the Ring, or at least a prince. It is the closest you can get to driving a Porsche Cup car and you can daily it if you really want to. The colour choice and striping and interior fabric selections are regrettable, but you can't question the car itself. Tick a few different boxes on the order form and it is right as rain.

We aren't talking about the car. We're talking about the JC Whitney interior.

What don't you like about it? If you don't like green, then i can see you not liking it. I think it is a great contrast and a beautiful car inside and out.

With a few exceptions, I love the Porsche 911 (991.2 body style) inside and out! I'm not warm to this specific example, though.

I'm not sure what is so special about the interior. The color matching with the exterior paint is the most impressive thing to me about it, but do they even do that for production models?

@SJD - Anything can be done to your car at the Porsche Factory- All it takes is a lot of money and your imagination and a bit of time to wait until they are done with your car. I would just add up the cost of the customized car first and then compare it to a Singer before you pull the trigger.

This is actually one of the 'standard' interiors. I put it in brackets because it comes at a cost but if I remember well, it's 3 boxes. (Leather interior, black and green interior and steering insert)

The Weissach package provides the headrest embroidery that some dislike. I ordered my car triple black which means all the green you see here is black so far more subtle but for the same price. (I also deleted the stickers and anything else that makes the car standard. That's a no cost option... if you want to call it that)

So SJD, yes, it's a standard production item. If you go custom, then be prepared to shell a lot more but as you see here, I estimate the car will run about $228k in the U.S. or $38k over base. (WP alone is $31k)

Hahaha, look at all them conservative getting all worked up over a car that's not "understated". Puuuhlease, loosen up your anuses and relax, the car looks good, and not everyone who is understated has class or is characteristically better.

Don't like the car design, but the color rocks. There.
