#NYIAS: Agent 001 DETAILS The All-new Lamborghini Urus In These REAL-LIFE Pics, Is It Blowing YOUR Doors Off?
Ever since the official reveal of the all-new Lamborghini Urus, I have heard about 90 percent positive comments about the vehicle. It goes something like this:

"It's a bold design," or, "It's the ultimate performance SUV," or, "I want one."

To be honest, Spies, it does absolutely nothing for me. While I am confident Lamborghini will sell every single unit it builds, it's merely an angular Porsche Cayenne Turbo S to me. Nothing to see here, folks.

Agent 001, on the other hand, adores this sport-utility vehicle. Every time I get sour on the Urus he notes, gleefully I might add, that he is 100 percent sure it will be the high-end SUV to have when all's said and done. Frankly, I don't think I disagree with him on that assessment but that doesn't mean it's an insanely great product.

What say you, Spies? Is the Urus blowing YOUR doors off?

The DLO is too small to go with the extremely thick body. There really isn't anything "Lamborghini" looking about it except for a few linear elements. For me, this is powerfully unsatisfying to look at.

Well, at least I now know I am not alone.

Hey — Let's see how many angles, cutlines and hexagons we can stick on a vehicle to make it look even more ridiculous than its concept. Oh, and let's put tuning forks on the grille for a little more decoration. What a POS.

As with the LR Evoke, try not to run over the kids, your dog or the weekly garbage/recycling bins on the driveway when you back up. Good thing there are rear cameras these days. The design is a bit squished...

Not a good look, from any angle.

In person - the front end of the car is not that bad. Maybe not a Lambo - but certainly acceptable. However - the rest of the car makes little sense - and is simply not good.

Again - the question will be how many Lambo will attempt to make - if they keep the numbers small - they will sell out quickly - if they try to make this a high volume unit - though - it just doesn't move me that way.

Without telling her the brand, I showed my wife a pic of the Urus. She said EEEEW!

I still think that if they want an Aventador or Huracan client to buy another vehicle, something more like the LM002 with a V12 and a bit more crazy would have been a better fit for this customer type. They may want their wife/partner to drive this to keep all the vehicles at one dealer, but as referenced in the posts above, I don't see this appealing to a lot of women.

The fundamental question I have is not whether Lamborghini should have done an SUV, but why the SUV needed to be a Lamborghini caricature.

The LM002--while certainly not attractive--didn't bother to try to look like a Lamborghini. I would have gone with creating an ultra premium SUV--much like a Range Rover--with a Lamborghini badge. The wannabe BMW X6 business leaves me cold.

I like it. Modern, aggressive and distinctive.
