Actor Will Ferrell Hospitalized After Late Night Crash On I-5 Highway

Will Ferrell was hospitalized after he was involved in a two-car crash in California Thursday night, footage from the scene of the crash showed.

A manager for the star told Deadline on Friday the star had been released from the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed to Fox News that Ferrell, 50, was involved in the crash after he was traveling down I-5 freeway in Orange County late Thursday in a chauffeur-driven SUV when it was side-swiped by another vehicle. Ferrell was one of the three passengers in the car.

While I don't care for him or his acting, I hope everyone is OK.

Why? Are you a Will Ferrell fanboy? Just intolerant of any voice other than your own?

@MD - See something, say something, do something. My post has nothing do to with the story and everything to do with the post and the poster. #Avengers.

Randy's comments are par for the course here. Shall we ban you and TheSteve when you say hateful things?

@MD- It isn't par for the course. There are very few people who partake in aggressively insulting other posters.Sadly you are also one of these people from time to time. Disagreements or alternative views are fine, insults or threats are not. Let's strive to do better...

You and TheSteve complain about decorum out of one side of your mouth as you say mean and vicious things to people out of the other. Calling for someone to be banned because you don't like what they have to say is (1) intolerant, (2) hypocritical, and (3) censorship.

If you TRULY want to be the keeper of decorum, YOU have to be the model of it. And you aren't.

Granted, I think you're more able to be a sane, good person versus your buddy who spews, rants, and moralizes, but you're no angel

This is a patently false statement: "There are very few people who partake in aggressively insulting other posters."

The way this site works is the more stabby the comments the more traffic and the more monetization occurs.

This is all about making money and traffic is how its done.

I'm just miffed that I'm not getting a share of the profits.

The post of @randy2023 immediately struck me as nasty as well as an implied ad hominem attack on @atc98092. Many here have pointed opinions, but generally they are delivered with wit, and even when they are witless, they are not scatological. That level of discourse, if it becomes commonplace, will drive me from reading comments. I won't join in banning someone, but I will call them out for shame.

And yes, this isn't car news.
