VIDEO: When Porsche Owners ATTACK
Now we're awfully familiar with how the purchase of a new vehicle can go wrong. We've heard the stories. We've been there.

Hell, that's why AutoSpies and DealerRater exist.

But, to be honest, there's some situations one could not even imagine. And, they tend to happen more often than one would think. Take this latest happening, for instance.

In Taiwan, the buyer of an all-new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo put an order in for a car that featured a boatload of options in it. According to reports the buyer's assistant placed the order and there must have been a miscommunication on the options. That's because the all-new car arrived without the extras the buyer wanted.

When the dealer said they were not going to give back the man's deposit, well, you can see what happened in the video clip below...

...The car starts at a price of about £147,000 and would increase to about £184,000 with the extras he wanted. The deal was arranged with the help of his assistant, and Chu paid more than £50,000 in the form of a deposit.

But when the Porsche was shipped to the island in November, it did not have any of the optional extras he had ordered. The dealership claimed the sales contract did not include the extras, which were likely forgotten by his assistant...

The customer ordered a car with a lot of options. The car that arrives is missing the options. So what do you do? I'd tell the dealership *MY* car has not arrived, and I won't take delivery of the one that showed up in its place.

This customer did something different. He took delivery, and then took out his disappointment (for his own decision) on the dealership. Just plain stupid :-/

It really is too bad that the people of the dealer didn't drag him out of the car and beat him to a pulp. That would have been better video.

I don't understand why the guy signed/accepted/took delivery of the SUV if none of the options had been included. I can image that a really good dealer would just provide a loaner car/SUV until the correct order arrived.

But geez, this dude was really full of himself. He drove through & then got out like "I'm pissed, this car aint right". Well sir, you just paid for that SUV you just drove through the glass doors & we'll be happy to order another SUV with your options corrected.

He signed because he was coerced. He noted that the options were not correct and wanted his deposit back. The dealer refused and said that he could take the vehicle or lose his deposit and have no vehicle. Given that his deposit was approaching 50% of the price, that would be a lot of money to burn.

Even though i would have put my lawyers on the case and let them worry about getting my money back while suing the dealership, Porsche and whoever else possible, no way i would have signed. Some car salesman are ok and some are real pieces of crap.

Porsche should intervene and look at taking the franchise away. This is NOT how a dealer should treat a customer.

What a brave and lucrative dealership that it can tell a customer to go f*** himself. Bummer that the customer failed to see it their way.
