WHO Owns The Crown? WHICH Ride Is A FUN Fashion Accessory More Than ANY Other?
Recently, Agent 001 and I were talking about an upcoming event for a specific product. It's a luxury sport-utility vehicle and while we both don't hate it, we were having a bit of a laugh.

That's because there's almost a guarantee that the manufacturer event will have an off-road driving portion and, frankly, there's almost a 100 percent chance that whoever buys this vehicle will NOT be taking it off the tarmac. So, why bother? What is the automaker trying to prove?

Of course our talk took a turn to a more philosophic one and soon we were discussing all of the vehicles that are on the market and don't get used to their full extent. As usual, this got me thinking.

With all the vehicles on the market today that don't get used for their intended purpose, we've got to ask: WHO owns the crown? WHICH vehicle is a fun fashion accessory more than ANY other?

Name and shame, Spies!

I'm no authority on OWNING a "fashion accessory" ride.

I'm no authority of judging others, and accusing them of having a "fashion accessory" ride.

It you love what you drive... then cool! :-)

Actually you are an "authority" on judging others because you do it all the time.

@MDarringer: You certainly do have a tendency to hold up a mirror and speak to it, as though you were addressing another, don't you? :-)

The AutoSpies website is a great record of your unbridled litany of hate, derision, bigotry, and accusing others of your own characteristics.

The difference between you and me is that I'm not a hypocrite. Read the flow of this conversation. You first say you aren't judgmental and then you immediately say something judgmental. Just do us a favor and own the fact that you're a judgmental hypocrite.

@MDarringer, I present an analogy for you and readers to illustrate our predicament:

CITIZEN: You are a rapist. You rape women.

RAPIST: You’re so judgmental and intolerant!

And so it is with you and me, Matt. I accurately identify your characteristics of hate, derision, contempt and intolerance. They are your characteristics. I don’t recall you denying them! It’s like me pointing to a Nazi and saying “that’s a Nazi.” This offends you, so you spin my accurate and unbiased identification of your characteristics (and those of your kind) as “intolerance” (towards your intolerance) and “hate” (directed at your hatefulness). It’s just your spin on things.

You make it clear that you’re okay with hate and derision, so long as it is flowing unidirectionally, from your camp outwards. But when someone (like me) shines a spotlight on it, and calls it out for what it is, you get your panties in a knot, and you spin it, “Kellyanne Conway style”, as something different.

So here’s a fact for you (yeah, I know you hate facts): Calling a rapist a rapist is not judgmental. It’s just a fact. Calling you out for your hate, bigotry, derision, unbridled anger, is just describing your characteristics. It’s not judgmental. It’s just presenting facts.

Mind you, it appears you don’t think favorable of these accurately identified characteristics (and therefore of yourself), and so you interpret them to be “judgmental,” much in the same way that a rapist might consider others calling him a rapist to be “judgmental.”

And looks who's triggered so easily YET AGAIN...

Matt: Indeed! When you are confronted with indisputable facts, you get triggered, you seethe with anger, and the best reaction you can muster is to accuse others of what you are feeling, of your own characteristics: claiming *they* are triggered.

This is an all-too-common pattern for you. Your struggle to feel good about yourself is evident in your posting history, here on AutoSpies.

I truly hope that you get better someday, but that is doubtful, as you are still deeply steeped in blaming others for your misery: Me, Liberals, Mexicans, Blacks, Obama, environmentalists, the communists, socialists, Black Lives Matter people, Democrats, Muslims, etc. THEY're all to blame for your unhappiness!

So long as you embrace your mindself of externalization and blaming others for your misery, your hold yourself to a position of assured self-made suffering.

And so, the story of Matt Darringer continues :-(

I recently saw a convertible Range Rover Evoque... I think hands down that is the winner.

Entry Level Mustangs have been the go to "Fashion" car for a long time - However - the little Compact Buick Crossover - I think it is the ENCORE - I always seem to mix up their crossover names - is probably a close second.

Any SUV with rims > 19" or 20" and/or a "Sport" package on an SUV !

That you can get 23" rims from Bentley OEM on a Bentayga makes my point.

Range Rovers with 21" (and >) rims and "40" tires is just ridiculous.

The rims look great but that's it. If you want low-aspect tires/rims, buy a performance car.
