President Trump's Fixer, Michael Cohen, Approached Ford Motor Company — Mueller Wants To KNOW MORE

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, approached Ford Motor Co. to offer counsulting services last year. But the offer, which emphasized Cohen’s close connection with the president, was quickly rejected, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Those interactions in January 2017 are now part of an ongoing investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

Mueller’s team has asked Ford for details regarding the automaker’s correspondence with Cohen and has interviewed Ford’s Washington D.C.-based vice president of government and community relations, Ziad Ojakli. Cohen’s pitch was made via an informal call to Ojakli, the Journal reported.

Ford declined to comment Saturday.

Mueller has so embarrassed himself that it's time to fire him. If this type of witch hunt had happened with Obama, the action would have been called racist and poof it would be gone, BUT because Liberals are so butt hurt about Trump they cannot help themselves.

Funny how idiots talk about Trump and “the money” when the guy is worth $4B. The clintstones never earned more than $60k a year until he got elected yet is now worth $485M? Pathetic hypocrites...! Oh and anything T might have done was with a consenting partner before he was elected. Bubba Clintstone is an entirely different story, but recall at that time how “his private life was separate from his professional life!” Gutless, principle-less cowards!

It looks to me like Trump was complaining about the Clinton Foundation while collecting huge checks from Russian Oligarchs and paying off porn stars.

I’ll wait and see. I think the rich kid who served as a rifleman in Vietnam, has had a distinguished career in the FBI (if you discount the obvious lies about Boston, easy to fact check if you want to know) will release a comprehensive report and we will see what the facts tell us. Maybe it will say, hey there may have looked like smoke here but we followed up on every trail and it was nothing, no fires. Or he may say here is what we found, some smoking hot fires, Congress over to you for consideration.

Spoke to long time FBI agent, Mueller was/is considered a political hack when he came in (Bush) felt that he wasn’t a good investigator nor particularly intelligent. Comey was even worse, the last FBI Director that is respect by the rank and file is Louis Freeh.

Cohen offered consulting services to companies for his insight on Trump, that is the entire existence of K Street in DC. It is what established the Podesta Group as a powerhouse in DC.

Over a year investigating "Russian collusion" and nothing found proving it.
Why is this idiot still "investigating"?
No more talk of Russians, instead it is all about Trump's supposed encounter with a prostitute years ago and anything else unrelated to original charter (Russian involvement).
Why is he still allowed to waste our $$?

What most people on this thread clearly lack is an understanding of the law and how investigations as well as the rules around search and seizure and getting warrants approved in a court by a judge. The Mueller investigation keeps rolling along because they keep finding evidence. People have been indited and are in real trouble now and will sing for a commuted sentence. As well you may want to look up what collusion means. It's the talking, communicating and meeting with foreign agents that is the problem here.

Canadiancomments I think you may be the one that needs to brush up on US law. Collusion is not a cime in this case and technically only applies to Anti-trust crimes.

Here is the one thing that should scare the hell out of everyone no matter what side you’re on. On recommendation of one of your top level staff, you fire another top level staff member. You conduct an interview with a replacement candidate to replace the fired individual in which the person that recommended that firing sits in on the interview. The very next day the The staff member that recommended the firing appoints the individual that you just interviewed to investigate you!

That’s right the guy that didn’t get the job is investigating the guy that didn’t hire him.
