Hyundai Considers Green Lighting Kona

Hyundai’s recently launched N sub-brand for performance models currently includes two members: the i30 N and Veloster N.

It’s expansion, however, is very likely, and it appears that an ‘N’ version of the Kona is already in discussion, AutoExpress reports, after talking to Albert Biermann, Hyundai N chief.

With Albert Bierman in chassis development I think exciting things are happening at Hyundai and Kia. The Stinger and the G70 seem like viable 3 series alternatives at a lower price. The Hyundai Veloster sort of fills in where VW failed not bringing in the Sirocco. I think there will be a lot more competitive products with decent ride and handling. On the luxury end the Hyundai G90 certainly competes with BMW 7 series and Mercedes S class. The Kona seems best in class in terms of performance in handling in the small SUV category. These 2 companies appear to be a force to be reckoned with.
