STUD OR DUD? Volkswagen Confirms ID EV Hatchback Will Look Like Concept

Volkswagen is hyping up the arrival of its I.D. line of electric vehicles, which are set to propel the company into a new era. The I.D. hatchback was first shown off at the Paris Motor Show in 2016, and is set to enter production in 2019. As with most concept cars, we expected that the I.D. concept would change drastically for production, but this isn't the case. In an interview with Autocar's Greg Kable, Volkswagen design boss, Klaus Bischoff, said “The proportions, the design cues and the wheel size are the same as the concept. It looks like the show car."

VAG quality/reliability is pretty lacking. My money will be on Toyota or Honda being the company that makes EVs truly viable.
