Elon Musk Expresses His LOVE For His Crew After The FIRST Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Performance Rolls Off The Assembly Line

A month after unveiling the new dual motor and dual motor performance versions of the Model 3, Elon Musk confirmed that the first Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor Performance rolled off the company’s new assembly line in Fremont today.

Earlier today, we reported on an email Musk sent to employees about the current push to increase Model 3 production to 5,000 units per week.

It included bringing up the new general assembly line that Tesla is building up under a giant new tent at the Fremont factory...

Elon has incredible force of will and vision, I hope he pulls Tesla to profitability soon and this seems a good step in that direction.

Elan Musk is a crook. He took many tens of thousands of deposits for base model 3 cars - and yet - instead of putting ANY in production - he continues to find new ways to produce MORE EXPENSIVE models - and he even said he is NOT going to be producing the base model cars anytime soon.

Yes - doing this may mean he will not need more money infusions - BUT you can ONLY piss off a customer for so long before they become enemies for life - . THis is just ANOTHER typical SCAM

A crook? Everyone gave their deposits willingly and they are 100% refundable. They (We) all knew it was going to be 1+ years before the cars were released.

I wouldn't be too giddy about that. They could go after Musk next.

@vdiv

Why would Musk get arrested?

Why was Stadler detained? Because he "may" hinder the investigation. We live in dangerous times.

Not giddy, just reminding the the forum hypocrites to save some moral outrage for the guys actually being arrested.

Got it. Maybe hold your breath and stamp your feet hoping this American company goes under and we get more Germans and Japanese selling us cars?

I don't believe in socialist companies which is what Tesla is.

Not quite sure why they would be socialist, it's a for profit company that's also partially aligned with some public good (reducing pollution, reducing car deaths).

Love for his crew??? Where was his love just a few days ago when he fired how many? Bipolar perhaps?

Psychiatrists would have a field day with the schizophrenia in this comments section.

So you're all pro-business, but mad at Musk for reducing expenses?

You're staunch Republicans but mad a Musk for not supporting a union?

You're all serious car guys visiting a site devoted to new cars, but hate any sort of new technology or forward thinking?

You're all pro MAGA, but hate the Americana company and loooove those German brands.

Etc.

SJD: Your statement has some validity until you get to the reducing pollution and reducing car death part.

When you plug an electric car in to recharge, pollution might be coming out of a smoke stack some where, depending on the utility company. It is true that there is no exhaust coming from the car. As far as reducing car death, at least once a week we hear (unfortunately) about burning Tesla's and autopilot failures.

How the electricity is generated does have an impact for sure, but from what I understand even running off of a coal plant it will have lower emissions than a normal ICE. I could be wrong, but that's not really why I bought the car (and CA is 50% "green" at this point anyway).

As for deaths, I'm looking forward to some more concrete stats in upcoming quarterly reports. There is obviously disproportionate media coverage for the same reason why every other article on AutoSpies is about Tesla (or every political news story is about Trump).
