Disgruntled Employee Initiates Extensive Cyber Attack Against Tesla
A disgruntled Tesla Inc. employee broke into the company’s manufacturing operating system and sent highly sensitive data to unknown third parties, according to an email Elon Musk sent to staff.

The worker, who had been denied a promotion, did “quite extensive and damaging sabotage” to Tesla’s operations, Musk wrote in the memo late Sunday, which was reported in full by CNBC. While a spokesman declined to comment, an employee who asked not to be identified confirmed he received the email.

Good? This is an American company, you shouldn't wish sabotage on anyone dude. I'm not rooting for your car dealership to burn down.

Actually - it points to just how perilous our positions in these cars is becoming. Once upon a time - when a car had points, and ONE vacuum hose - You were pretty much in charge. Today - cars are so computer controlled that the threat of a hostile takeover is truly something to worry about _ Imagine if ALL the cars of one brand just simply STOPPED!

Pure BS. If the employee actually did sabotage the company and admitted doing so, why weren't criminal charges filed?

This is just an excuse for the upcoming worst earnings report in Tesla's history and failure to meet production goals again. Popcorn ready.
