Audi's E-Tron EV SUV Interior Gets Revealed In Copenhagen

As part of its protracted run-up to the full unveiling of the company’s all-electric E-Tron SUV, Audi showed off the car’s interior at an event in Copenhagen last night, touting the new EV’s quiet ride, enhanced sound system, and high-tech features. The full unveiling of the car was previously scheduled for the end of August, but has been postponed to an undisclosed date this fall, partially thanks to the arrest of CEO Rupert Stadler on charges related to the Dieselgate controversy.

Looks nice. I still like the Tesla approach more on utilitarian design, but like the iPace and Taycan this is shaping up to be a solid offering.

Tesla isn't going anywhere, and neither are cleaner interior designs with fewer buttons. I like the 3 interior more than the S (except I wish they kept a second screen).

Indeed and when mass market EVs reach the market like they are about to, the pipe dream of the affordable Tesla will be over.

The difference in the quality that Audi will bring to the segment will be hard for Tesla to counter given Tesla's shoddy workmanship.

As I've been saying for a while, when the Germans show up with their all-EV sedans and SUVs, it will spell trouble for Tesla. We have the first real look at Audi's eTron SUV with these photos and it's clear that Audi's interior is far ahead of Tesla's in terms of layout, quality and technology.

Tesla's giant screen has never looked cheaper than it does now.
