That's the XKR undergoing testing- not some new "updated" XK. Far from crap. The XK is the best-looking luxury convertible for under $100,000.

The lower grille/air intake gets a "smile", aka the ends are tuned up.

This car's appeal is pretty undeniable. It oozes sex appeal on the street.

I think the mild re-design will coincide with the fixing of other minor faults levelled at the XK -namely the telescopic ariel.

And Will, I agree, poorly executed. The camouflage engineers should have made the plastic cladding more streamlined with the bumper.

it does not look like Taurus up front. The only other car that shares the same shape up front is the DB9 and to a lesser extent the V8 Vantage. Go see the car in person or get your eyes examined.

They are only changing the lower intake opening. How can a car that shares it's front shape from windshield forward look like a Taurus? The only thing that resembled a Ford Taurus was the E-TYPE grille which is actually a Jaguar grill in the first place. Unless you think the DB9 also looks like a Taurus. We are not sensitive about Jaguar. Some of the things some of you people say are rediculous and wouldn't even be said if Jaguar wasn't owned by Ford. They could design a boat and everyone will still say it looks like a Taurus. How can so many totally Jaguar different designs all look like Taurus'? Makes no sense.

The only way for the XK to look like a Ford Taurus is to be shaped like a Taurus up front and it is not. It is shaped like the DB9. That's my point, Will. You can't mistake the XK for a Taurus as the two cars are completely different from the front with the exception of the grill which is a different in many ways also.

note the quad exhausts? the bonnet vents? this isn't an xk. this isn't even an xkr. this is an xkr-r.
expect 500 hp+, and lighter weight.

I KNEW it! The normal XK doesn't have quads!!!

But it doesn't look as agressive as the normal XKR. I'm sure this isn't the finalized bodykit.

XKR is gorgeous. I'd have to drive one- it's in 911 Carrera S price range, which is what I'm thinking of getting next.

the xkr does have quad exhausts, i saw it today at a motorshow. i still think this is the xkr-r though.
