Spy Shots: 2007 / 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe?!?!

Shots of a Nissan Altima coupe were taken outside of the California Bear Credit Union in downtown Los Angeles on Friday. The shots were taken at what seems to be a photo shoot suggests that the car is on the way. The car closely represents the Infiniti G35 from the front but no clear shots of the back.

That is a G35 look alike without the price tag. The side profile looks almost exact. Only major difference is probably it's interior and the rear tail lights. I'm sure lots of import tuners will be looking at this Coupe to 'soop' up.

Looks pretty good. I don't think it'll affect the sales of the G35 because they are different vehicles.

I spoke to a Nissan sales manager and he confirms the coupe will be a 2008 model and be available shortly after the seden is in the dealership.

He said the couple is actually a bit roomer than the G35 and the price starts out at $19,995 for a 4-cyclinder model. The 6-cyclinder will probably be the most popular model and a 6-speed or CVT automatic will be available as well. For it's initial release, only FWD are available, but may add a AWD during its mid-life cycle. Currently, the G35 is only available in RWD and AWD is optional for the 4 door seden.

I like it. It only makes sense: Honda has the Accord coupe, Toyota has the Camry Solara and now the Altima couple, but what will become of the 350z?
